Turbine Trainer is a versatile educational tool for studying turbines. It features Pelton, Kaplan, and Francis turbines, each with a transparent casing, and a hydraulic bench with a VFD-controlled pump. Students can conduct experiments to study turbine characteristics and calculate efficiency.

Turbine Runner: Pelton turbine hub carries 18 buckets on horizontal shaft (194) supported on 2 nos plummer blocks mounted on chassis placed on HB holding tray emptying into sump tank.
Speed Measurement: Hand held tachometer for RPM measurement.
Gauges, Meters, Sensors etc.:On HB: Oil filled, 0-8 Bar, 2.5″ dial size, 1/4″ port pressure gauge.
Loading: Brake pulley loading OR 1HP BLDC generator (optional) mounted on chassis coupled to pelton shaft.
Control panel rack: Table top 4×2 aluminum profile (45×45) rack to mount resource panels viz. 1 Phase AC input supply panel (EMT16), VFD drive for pump motor (EMT33), VFD: 1 phase I/P & 3 phase 230VAC delta O/P, Multifunction 3 Phase meter panel (EMT34).
