Antenna System Trainer (Model : XPO-ANT)

This antenna experimentation system offers a versatile and comprehensive platform for studying antennas in the 500MHz RF range. The variety of antennas provided come equipped with BNC (F) connectors, ensuring easy connection to RF generators/power meters and facilitating convenient swapping using M8 screws and wing nuts. The system supports both standalone and PC-based modes of operation, with the latter requiring a stepper driver, CIA panel, and PC software compatible with XP, WIN7, and WIN8 operating systems. The direct interface with a PC through a USB cable enables the acquisition of power meter readings. The system includes an excellent Student’s Workbook (SW) and Instructor’s Guide (IG), featuring tables, polar graphs, and other valuable resources to enhance the learning experience for students studying antenna characteristics and operation.

  • Has Aluminium rotating table base of size 180x180mm, optionally
    contains 2kg-cm stepper, mounted in trans-mitting mast only.
  • Stainless-steel pipe (Height: 600mm & Dia : 19mm) connected with rotating base table with a flexibility to mount diff. antennas as percept using M8 screw/nut.
  • Scale with pointer to measure angle of rotation

Stepper Driver Panel / P-25 :

  • Programmable stepper control with built-in power.
  • Stepper CW & CCW rotation control.
  • Provision of different stepping modes of operation of Stepper with the step resolution of 0.9 (in Half-step mode) & 1.8 (in Full &
    Wave-drive modes).
  • Drives 4kg-cm stepper motor mounted on transmitter mast using
    15-pin D (M).
