Introducing the Double Bus Bar Trainer (Model: XPO-SPS/DBB), a practical and versatile tool designed for comprehensive studies in power systems. Represents a double bus bar switching station with 9 switching bays, addressing the operational requirements of both grid and power station scenarios. Two bus bar segments are depicted, allowing students to learn interlocking conditions for safe switching operations. The setup is ideal for 3 bus and four bus load flow studies, as well as the examination of voltage variation, control, and voltage regulation for constant power factor (cos Φ). Can accommodate different KVA rating grid transformers in the absence of an actual generation setup, effectively simulating a power source. Ensures easy and secure wiring for students using 4mm sturdy shrouded banana patch cords and shrouded socket arrangements designed for high voltage circuits.

SALIENT FEATURES

  • The Model represents a double bus bar switching station with 9 switching bays. It is equipped in such a way that the requirements of the both the grid and the power station operation are dealt in practice oriented way. Two bus bar segments are represented. Here the interlocking conditions in a switching station can be learned in order to conduct safe switching operations, as the situation requires, on the grid and power plant.

XPO- SPS/DBB trainer can work in standalone mode with simulated grid sources as well as in conjunction with Generation setup, Synchronisation Setup, HMI, RTU SCADA software and consists of following panels:

  • Modbus RTU RS 485 interface for SCADA.
