3 Phase Inverter Trainer (Model : XPO-INV)

The XPO-INV is reconfigurable hardware modules and replaceable power modules, allowing users to construct 3-phase/1-phase inverter topologies. The FPGA controller board’s accessibility promotes quick verification and testing of innovative ideas. The PE7 panel features a square wave (quasi-sine) default and weighted sine PWM inverter selection switch. Optional use of hall sensors for voltage/current measurements adds versatility. The demo panel setup is lightweight yet sturdy, utilizing a table-top aluminium profile with plastic modular panels. These panels house various high-voltage components, incorporating colourful overlays for safety and easy servicing. The inclusion of 4mm shrouded banana patch cords facilitates easy and safe wiring for students. Each panel, with ABS moulded plastic enclosure and colourful screwless overlays displaying circuit diagrams and connection tag numbers, ensures easy understanding and connections.

panel (EMT 8) (6 Shrouded sockets):

  • DC Multi Output power supply.
  • Supplies DC power to neighbouring signal conditioning circuit panels like EMT9, CIP1, CIP2, MIT12, CE7 etc. through 20 pin FRC cable.
  • Provides 1 Ph. AC supply through 3 MCB’s, 4Aeach to powerup other panels in the rack.
  • Optionally Multichannel 4 position DPM for Speed, Torque etc.
  • Green SBS5 socket is provided for extend earth.

8 IGBT Power & sensing panel – PE7A/L & R(74Shrouded banana sockets)

Consisting of

  • 1200V/40A IGBT with upto isolated (LV) TTL compatible driver circuit & individual heat sink with built in isolated DC power supply for gate drive – 8 nos.
  • Optionally Current measurement AC (12 nos) & DC (1no) using Hall sensors (Max I/P up to 20A, 50/60Hz), Isolation up to 2KV, O/P= 0-3V for controller feedback.
  • Optionally Voltage measurement AC (3 nos) & DC (1no) using hall sensors (Max I/P 10-500V, 50/60Hz), Isolation up to 2KV, O/P= 0-3V for controller feedback.
  • 2 nos of relays for ON/OFF control of I/P & O/P under /uc control.
  • DC link supply for inverter 300V/5A.
  • May be used in manual mode using SG3525 PWM controller (1 phase application) as well as from DSP/FPGA controller
    (Optionally User selectable choice of controller).
  • Square wave (Quasi sine) default and PWM sine inverter selection switch (SW7) & frequency increment / decrement PBswitches.
