Motor Braking Methods Trainer is designed to facilitate the study of braking methods for different types of motors, including AC (3-phase squirrel cage) and DC motors. Each motor is securely mounted on a finely painted sturdy base frame, featuring a flywheel mounted on its shaft to enable the examination of its impact on braking. The system ensures easy and safe wiring for students through the use of 4mm sturdy shrouded banana patch cords and socket arrangements. Housed in a robust aluminium profile sturdy flat panel, which serves as a table-top system, the setup carries various high-voltage components enclosed in plastic panels, minimizing the risk of electrical shock. The inclusion of a set of Student Workbooks and an Instructor’s Guide enhances the learning experience, providing structured guidance for practical experiments and comprehensive understanding of motor braking methods.
